The poetics of oikos: the study of home & kin

The etymology of ecology is oikos + logy, i.e., the study of house or home and family or kin. In this week-long inquiry, we will delve into what it truly means to study our home and listen with our kin; i.e. to re-situate ourselves within a wider web of interspecies and material relationships. Throughout the week, we will develop a phenomenological, ontological and creative inquiry into what it means to become intertwined and entangled with the landscape around us.
